This year we took part in the Curiosity Carnival as part of the European Researchers’ Night, which is a Europe-wide event dedicated to explaining research through fun, interactive learning. Several of our Zoology researchers took to the Museum of Natural History and the Ashmolean to offer members of the public a unique opportunity to meet researchers, ask questions and find out more about what they research and why.
The evening itself was a huge success:
- over 500 researchers involved
- 9400 members of the public attended
- 40+ million impressions online
- 250k online engagement
