Research Interests

My current research is on the ecosystem functions in the human-modified tropical landscape, shaped by small-scale agriculture in Indonesia. In specific, I assessed the impacts of the habitat modification on the ecosystem functions, investigated the ecological interactions that determine ecosystem functions mediated by the invertebrate communities under changing environments (land-use and climate changes), and identified the effectiveness of practical solutions based on the ecosystem functions provided by the invertebrate community to both maintain crop production and protect tropical forests.
