Dr Gilly Mroz

Research Interests

I am a postdoctoral researcher on the LEAP (Livestock, Environment and People) project. My research focuses on media narratives surrounding meat consumption, the livestock industry, dietary change and the environment. Prior to joining LEAP, I conducted research for the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences into media narratives around remote GP care during the Covid-19 pandemic. Drawing on my DPhil (where I analysed Spanish and Russian literary texts), I seek to answer science/social science questions through humanities-based methodologies.
