Autobiography

I completed my three-year degree in Biology at the University of Paris 6, with a main interest in polyandry. For my master thesis I studied post-copulatory responses related to sperm length in different species of Drosophila with Dr. Dominique Joly (LEGS, CNRS, Gif-Sur-Yvette). Then I worked as a field assistant for Shinichi Nakagawa under the supervision of Pr Terry Burke on Lundy Island to study the sparrow's population. I am currently doing a DPhil supervised by Dr Tommaso Pizzari studying sexual selection in the fowl.

Research Activities

Sexual selection, sperm competition, MHC, compatibility and sexual conflict inthe jungle fowl.
